After one of the wildest years in recent wrestling history, WWE and All Elite Wrestling fans have started to shift their attention to 2025 and what wild predictions could come true next year.

From The Rock winning the Undisputed WWE Championship to Kenny Omega returning to AEW and saving the company from Jon Moxley and his group, fans are pulling for the next year to be even wilder than 2024.

Here are the most outlandish, yet also realistic, predictions for WWE and AEW in 2025.

The Rock Enters WrestleMania 41 as World Champion

The Rock continues to be a significant storyline focus in WWE, pitting Roman Reigns and his group against the new Bloodline.

While most fans believe The Rock vs. Reigns will headline WrestleMania 41, there could be even more at stake.

The Final Boss should beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble on February 1, giving him the chance to enter the main event at The Show of Shows as the top titleholder.

Rhodes has been solid in his role as world champion, but his reactions pale in comparison to those for Reigns and The Rock.

WrestleMania is the most important show of the year, and The American Nightmare had his chance to prove he belonged, and it has fallen flat.

The Rock is a bona fide mainstream star, and whether he is elite in the ring or not, Reigns is also extremely popular.

The two biggest stars in WWE should be fighting for the world title in the main event, which will justifiably leave Rhodes on the sidelines.

Kenny Omega Dethrones Jon Moxley

After defeating Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship and forcing the popular superstar into retirement, Jon Moxley and his cohorts have taken a stranglehold of weekly programming.

With no end in sight for his reign of terror, the company needs someone to stop him.

Names like Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy and other top babyfaces will work for months to halt the heel stable, but ultimately, it should be the returning Kenny Omega who stands toe-to-toe with Moxley's group.

Omega should join forces with FTR, "Hangman" Adam Page and Thunder Rosa and develop a team worthy of taking on the champion's newfound friends. After months of fighting between the two groups, The Cleaner should finally get his chance at Moxley and take away the world title.

Omega and Moxley are two of the foundational cornerstones of AEW, and they should fight for the title forever.

Gunther Beats Brock Lesnar

There is little doubt the WWE Universe has come to respect and admire Gunther since his debut on the main roster and his ascension to the top of the card as the world heavyweight champion.

A dominant run has been great for his credibility with the fans, but he needs to continue stacking unforgettable moments to build his cache. The ideal way to cement The Ring General's status as a top draw would be to book him against Brock Lesnar.

Not only should Gunther fight The Beast Incarnate, but he should also walk out of the bout victorious.

Lesnar's eventual return to WWE programming will be met with immense fanfare, so putting him against the Austrian will catapult the Superstar into the upper echelon just by sharing the ring with the former UFC fighter.

Add in Gunther successfully defending the world title against Lesnar, and WWE would build one of its fresher faces into a bona fide legend.
